through this field of stones we go, around and around,
down we fall into this pile of dirt (our favorite mound),
remember the way your smile said what you lost you found,
and i say to you, and only you, never will i mind being eternally bound,
six feet below the solid ground,
where we can finally forget the blur of sound.

and when we reach this world below eden- i'll surrender to you my crown,
hold your breath cause you just might drown,
inside this dreary underworld of a town,
never forget that you promised not to frown,
even as we're sinking, sinking, always sinking down.
